4. Wind Proof Umbrella

On the most recent cruise that I have been on it did rain, and during that time I with I had a pretty sturdy traveling umbrella to prevent from getting drenched! When you`re out at sea, it`s often wildly windy too, so you`ll want one that is windproof. The last thing you want is to be standing outside with your umbrella and it completely turns inside out, that is no fun. Also, not to mention having an umbrella to block the sun’s rays.

9. Water Proof Backpack

Waterproof daypacks have been an absolute success for me while cruising. Not only are you literally surrounded by water all day long, but the small boats that take you for excursions and landings can easily soak your belongings. Actually, I once fell into the water and ruined my belongings… Learn from your mistakes and protect your valuables with this backpack. Whether you’re boating, snorkeling, or just docking, you’ll love it. When not in use, it can be folded and stored in its own small storage bag.
